Portrait of Tomás Saraceno, Italian-Argentine artist and architect whose international renown hails from his visionary and unexpected installations that can be experienced by the public and change the perception of architectural spaces.
Remove geographical, physical, social and behavioural barriers are among his main inspiration.
We met him at Hangar Bicocca, Milan. Here he installed “On Space Time Foam” a floating monumental structure on which the public can tread (400 square metres x 24 m high), built on three levels of clear surfaces inspired by the cubic shape of the exhibition space.
