According to the curator of the 55 Biennale Arte in Venice entitled “Il Palazzo Enciclopedico”, Massimiliano Gioni “the Venice Art Biennial is a unique opportunity not only to see contemporary art but also to feel part of the present”. Along the lines of this premise, this documentary proposes a special guided tour of the show at the Arsenale and various national pavilions at the Giardini: Uruguay, Korea, Portugal, Russia, The Arab Emirates, The United States, South Africa, Montenegro, Kossovo, Lebanon, Romania, Central Asia, Hong Kong, Argentina, China and Turkey in particular.
We interviewed Massimiliano Gioni and some artists and international curators such as Alfredo Jaar, Kimsooja, Maurizio Bortolotti, Nicola Costantino, Ali Kazma and others.
