UltraBiennale Six official and unofficial events at the Biennale Arte in Venice (2013) This is a video-report of six official and unofficial events at the Biennale Arte in Venice of 2013:
- The artist Kimsooja explains her project for the Korean Pavilion;
- Alfredo Jaar’s project of a scale model of the Biennial, which he later submerged at the Chilean Pavilion;
- The curator Maurizio Bortolotti explains "Disposition", a two part show of Chinese artist Ai Weiwei at the Zuecca Project Space at Zitelle – where the work "Straight" was exhibited – and in the church of Sant’Antonin, where the installation "Sacred" was exhibited;
- Padiglione Crepaccio at yoox.com presented both a real pavilion in the rooms of Ca’ Soranzo and a virtual one – on the website of the online fashion, design and art store yoox.com. Here it presented “Veneziani” (“Venetians”), an exhibition of very young artists who obtained global visibility through this bi-dimensional means.
- The exhibition “When Attitudes Become Form: Bern 1969/Venice 2013” at Fondazione Prada, Venezia, explained by its curator Germano Celant and with a commentary by art critic Ludovico Pratesi, whom we casually encountered among the visitors of the exhibition;
- The exhibition “Marc Quinn in Venezia”, a major solo exhibition of the artist at Fondazione Cini, explained by Marc Quinn himself.
