“Gradi di libertà” is an exhibition conceived and produced by Fondazione Golinelli in collaboration with MAMbo – Museo d’Arte Moderna, Bologna, based on a project by Giovanni Carrada in collaboration with Gilberto Corbellini, curated by Giovanni Carrada for the science section and by Cristiana Perrella for the artistic section.
Where and how does our chance of being free – or lack thereof – originate from? Can we always choose ourselves? Are we born free or do we become free? Does our freedom end where other people’s rights begin or does our brain tell us where to draw the line? What new kinds of freedom will we need in a hundred years’ time?
The exhibition explores the most important theme that affects our lives through the simultaneous point of view of art and science.
