In 1999, Alessandra Galletta and Achille Bonito Oliva were co-authors of the original format
“A.B.O. Collaudi d’arte” – contemporary art in 30 daily 6-minute clips broadcast on Rai1.
…then I did a television programme on Rai1: A.B.O. Collaudi d’arte. The public was not forewarned, it was broadcast at random within the usual programming. The first 3 minutes were dedicated to the introduction of the work of a great artist. I talked about Fontana in the airport of Pratica sul Mare where the sound barrier was broken. I talked about Burri in a dump. In the next section I was in the street, where I underlined the influence these works have had on public fruition (clothing, mannerisms… for instance I checked the effects of Picasso in a plastic surgery facility). The last minutes were dedicated to the presentation of a young artist…
