During this documentary we visited one of the three units which LILT Milano offers young cancer patients and their families who come to Milan from all over Italy to undergo treatment at the Pediatric Oncology facility of the IRCCS Foundation of the Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori (National Cancer Institute).
There are three houses, fourteen beds and LILT volunteers to welcome and offer care and a little peace of mind to those who find themselves far away from home.
