Arthub Asia is an international curatorial platform based in China and founded in 2007. The curator Davide Quadrio likes to define it as a “construction of meaning” activity. He says that “for many years we did not have a permanent space but tried to work according to the different projects we created, defending our curatorial team. Over the past two years we have thought it necessary to work with continuity in an institutional space”. This is how “The Making of a Museum” was created, as an exhibition project in collaboration with the Aurora Museum of Shanghai, which hosts works by Qiu Zhijie, Yang Fudong, Ling Yun, Li Shurui, KanXuan, Liu Jianhua, Michael Lin.
