"Our feet step on the green of the lawn and on the brown of the earth, but our body is
wrapped into blue. It is a colour that offers itself always in different ways, it moves toward grey, towards green, towards ultramarine.
The Mediterranean sky is a sky of meditation, when you take a walk by the sea you see the blue that becomes deeper and deeper and towards evening it becomes all silver, the horizon line cannot be seen anymore. The sea is joined with the sky. You feel that space never ends, there is no image, but if you try to pierce the blue with a finger what do you find?"

The documentary narrates on one side the daily routine of the artist - methodical, contemplative, almost motionless - and its repetition, similar to a mantra, in the place where it originated (Cappelle sul Tavo and Spoltore, Pescara, the mountains, the sea and the sky of Abruzzo).
On the other side instead, in absence of the artist and moving away from its territory, it extends its view to be immersed in the inexhaustible expanding of his works in the world; looking for their magic and strength in the quality of light that they spread to Rome, Naples, Bologna, Paris, London, Monaco, Strasbourg…
